The Oberoi Udaivilas Udaipur

We are frequent travelers and stay in many hotels every year - there is no doubt that the Oberoi hotel chain is one of the queen of the jewels of the travel industry, but the Oberoi in Udaipur is the best of the best out of all the Oberoi hotels !!! The hospitality is beyond imagination The staff is amazing - each employee is hand picked to give an outstanding experience For us it all about Mr Manvendra Singh (food & beverage Mgr) and Mr Siva the hotel’s amazing Chef and their teams who made our experience unforgettable - an experience that we will cherish for many years to come

Our experience at Udaivilas exceeded our expectations. The property is at a beautiful location along with a lake view and there's a lot of space to walk on the property. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a small gift as we celebrated our anniversary. The pool side is beautiful with shacks, trees, open sky and birds. Timeless! The staff was helpful throughout our stay and helped us get our breakfast packed early as we had to checkout early. Also, I forgot my perfume in the room and the staff arranged a free delivery the next day. Thankful to them! Overall, we enjoyed the stay and I wish to come here again!

Location is amazing. I recommend getting the shared pool room if you are hesitating. it was worth the money, we had the best view of the lake and the Castle. There was a convenient sofa by the window, we asked to convert it to sleeping place for our 6 yo son, and he loved it because he could close the curtains and have his privacy there) breakfast was good. not a big selection but they had most of the things needed for our usual breakfast and everything was cooked as desired. this place has a very peaceful vibe. I would compare it to Italian lakes like Como or Iseo very green, quiet with beautiful landscapes that you can enjoy while sunbathing or swimming. compared to other 5 star hotels around this one has nice green territory to walk around.

Everything but the staff kindness and hospitality stood out. Mr Sumeir and Mr Abishek were very helpful but all other staff also were very kind.the infrastructure was amazing and the views were so beautiful.definitely the best hotel I have ever been to. The hotel gave us so many surprises and gifts, it was just amazing.

Absolutely everything, calling this property spectacular is an understatement. The attention to detail from the time one enters the property is immaculate, the Managers and staff at all levels are phenomenal. Had I not prepaid for my non-refundable stay at the Taj Lake Palace, I would have undoubtedly continued my stay at the Oberoi Udaivillas . A special mention to the GM, Mr Ankush and Ms Suhani who were superb in meeting my every request. They made us feel like family and royalty at the same time. Words cannot explain how impeccable this resort is. The one and only jewel resort to select if you deciding on luxury accommodation in Udaipur. The client centricity of the staff is beyond amazing , I will only come to Udaipur again for this property. Have travelled worldwide but this was my most magical experience to date. To the Udaivillas entire team , thank you for a beyond amazing experience.
